PosAbility Australia Outreach Program

The PosAbility Outreach Program is a new initiative as part of a collaboration with other not for profit organisations called Unbounded, seeking to increase access to students in rural and regional areas to high quality learning difficulties assessment and intervention services, as well as access to professional development for those assisting children with learning difficulties.

Over the next 1-2 years, PosAbility Australia will be visiting a number of rural and regional locations, offering screening and diagnostic assessments, consultation for parents, teachers, tutors and professionals and development of intervention programs that may be continued locally or supported online. We hope to establish relationships with schools and local service providers now and in the future to increase the impact of our Outreach Program to help more children access the specialised services that they require.

PosAbility Australia is a registered charity that seeks to assist children with learning difficulties in reaching their potential. We are a multidisciplinary team of special education teachers, educational consultants, and allied health professionals with a shared mission to support children to learn to their potential, live to the fullest and grow to be all they can be.

At each visit to the regional hubs; PosAbility Australia will be offering:

• Intervention Program set-up
• Teacher, parent and/or tutor training
