Eric is an experienced special education teacher with over ten years of experience in delivering individualised programs for children with a range of special needs.

Eric is an experienced special education teacher with over ten years of experience in delivering individualised programs for children with a range of special needs. Eric commenced at PosAbility in 2018 with a diverse set of experiences in a range of school and private clinic settings as an ABA therapist, special education teacher and literacy and numeracy specialist at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes in Sydney. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology) and is currently undertaking a Master of Special Education at Macquarie University. Eric has also been involved in ongoing training and mentoring at PosAbility and through professional development courses, such as Sounds Write.

Eric has a special interest in early literacy, particularly in planning and delivering customised and evidence-based programs for children with difficulty acquiring early reading, spelling, comprehension and writing skills. He has worked with children of all ages from 4-18 years with a range of special needs and learning difficulties, such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. Eric has experience in standardised testing, planning and implementing individualised programs and mentoring staff for instructional quality.

Eric believes that instruction should not be ‘one size fits all’ – rather, it should be needs-based and differentiated. He always strives to deliver genuinely individualised and enjoyable sessions by integrating the principles of special education, ABA, and growth mindset, while keeping in mind his students’ personality, interests, motivations, and individual learning profile. Above all, Eric is passionate about making a positive impact on his students’ everyday lives and learning experience.
