HEALTH POLICY UPDATE

Health Policy Update 18th March, 2020. With the flu season fast approaching and the increased rate of transmission of Covid-19, PosAbility would appreciate your assistance with the following: If your child is unwell, particularly with any respiratory, cold or flu symptoms, please do not attend sessions or ask your consultant about the possibility of an online session. If your child has a fever or has had a fever in the last 48 hours, we ask that you do not attend.
If you or anyone in your family is unwell with cold or flu symptoms, please ensure they are not remaining in the waiting room. Please use the outdoor seating if weather permits or remain outside of the clinic.

PAYMENTS AND PROCEDURES

Clients may select one of three payment options – 1. Term in advance. 2. Payment at the time of the appointment 3. Provide credit card details to be charged on the day of the appointment. For regular appointments held outside of the clinic, only payment option 1 or 3 are applicable.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that during the term, there may be instances due to illness or other commitments, when your child may be unable to attend a scheduled appointment. Due to the high demand on our services and inconvenience to our consultants when an appointment is cancelled, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required. We appreciate that at times; it may be difficult to provide more than a day’s notice, such as when your child is suddenly unwell. However, as this time cannot be reallocated with short notice, we are required to charge a fee for cancellations made where less than 24 hours notice is given.

ACADEMIC INTERVENTION SERVICE AGREEMENT

NDIS SERVICE AGREEMENT

NDIS Service Agreement. As of 31st March, 2019, PosAbility will no longer be a registered NDIS Provider. We are able to continue to see clients that are self-managed or plan-managed through an external plan coordinator.

MEDICARE SERVICE AGREEMENT

Engagement of Medicare Service Agreement: Medicare Funding for Allied Health Services. There are four types of Medicare funding that provide rebates for Allied Health Services at PosAbility; 1. Chronic Disease Management for people with chronic conditions and complex care needs (up to 5 sessions per calendar year at a rebate of around $55 per session)
