CAREERS AT POSABILITY

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Being an Occupational Therapist at PosAbility

At Posability, our Occupational Therapists support children with learning difficulties, such as Dyslexia or Dysgraphia, fine and gross motor difficulties, including Motor Dyspraxia or disorders or differences associated with other delays or disabilities, such as Autism, intellectual Disability or ADHD. Our Occupational Therapists assess and plan and deliver intervention programs in the areas of handwriting, fine and gross motor skills, motor planning, executive functioning, written expression, regulation and social functioning. Our Occupational Therapists are also able to work with parents, carers and families to support sensory processing differences and build capacity in daily living. A PosAbility Occupational Therapist has the opportunity to follow their own interests and passions in delivering service options and individual or group programs. Our Occupational Therapists work collaboratively with our educational consultants and allied health therapists as part of our intensive intervention and group programs. Each Occupational Therapist is provided with a budget for professional development and provided with internal supervision and mentoring.

“I love being able to work collaboratively with a supportive team to help make the lives of the children and parents we work with a little bit easier! It’s so rewarding to be able to see a child progress and become more independent after learning in a way that makes sense and is meaningful for them.” – Krisha, OT at PosAbility
