CAREERS AT POSABILITY

PosAbility provides a unique role for teachers or professionals with additional training in supporting children with learning difficulties or other special needs. Our educational consultants may be teachers with additional experience or training, allied health professionals with a special interest in learning difficulties or professionals with additional training and certification in assessment and/or intervention of children with learning difficulties. Our Educational Consultants administer literacy and numeracy assessments and design and implement customised evidence-based literacy and numeracy interventions to children from Kindergarten to senior high school. Through a comprehensive mentoring and internal training program, our educational consultants are trained in a number of evidence-based programs and methods and supported in adopting a holistic and child-focused approach to intervention for children requiring a targeted and customised approach. Our Educational Consultants deliver services one to one or in small groups and work collaboratively with other educational consultants and allied health professionals as part of our intensive and targeted intervention programs. Ongoing mentoring and professional development is provided with a generous budget for external professional development in line with individual goals and our overall mission. Our Educational Consultants may work part-time or full-time.
