Sarah Hopkins

Special Education Consultant

BAppSc (Physiotherapy) (University of Sydney), MSpecEd (Macquarie University)

Sarah has worked at PosAbility for over 2 years, with a particular interest in assessing the educational needs and creating individualised programs for children with dyslexia/dysgraphia and ADHD.

Prior to joining PosAbility, Sarah spent 11 years as a physiotherapist working across multiple private practices and hospitals in Sydney and London.  In this time, she specialised in hand therapy, musculoskeletal injuries in adults and developmental issues in children.  This period included time spent outside clinical practice as a rehabilitation consultant, focused on workplace assessments and return to work programs for injured and disabled workers.

After taking time out of the workforce to have her three boys, Sarah developed a keen interest in learning disorders.  This led to her completing a Masters of Special Education at Macquarie University.  Sarah’s combination of both clinical and educational experience allows her to provide a holistic approach in support of her students’ academic needs.
