Primary Teacher (Bachelor of Primary Education)
Sarah is a passionate and experienced educator, who has taught students from Kindergarten to Year Six in both Catholic and Independent schools. She seeks to create a positive and challenging learning environment that aims to meet the individual needs of her students.
Throughout her teaching, Sarah has developed and implemented programs for each Key Learning Area (English, Mathematics, Science, History and Geography) for Early Stage 1 through to Stage 3.
Sarah has developed Literacy & Numeracy Intervention Programs, working collaboratively with classroom teachers to analyse data to monitor individual student growth and adapt learning experiences accordingly. She has extensive experience in identifying student needs and implementing differentiated tasks that cater for students’ varying abilities, including home and school study. In addition to classroom teaching, Sarah has developed and implemented programs for Social and Emotional Learning.
Sarah is dedicated to developing authentic relationships with students and parents. She strives towards creating a nurturing learning environment which is safe yet intellectually challenging and rewarding, where students develop a love of learning and achieve personal excellence.
