Speech and Language therapy is customised to the individual needs of each child. Based on an assessment or observation within the first few sessions, the speech therapist will collaborate with the parents, teachers and other care providers to set specific goals and priorities. A range of evidence based programs and methods will be drawn upon to support children with a range of difficulties including; vocabulary, receptive language, expressive language, articulation, phonological disorders, dyspraxia, autism spectrum disorder, verbal fluency, social skills, pragmatic communication skills, literacy and auditory processing. Therapy may be 30, 45 of 60 minute sessions as many times per week as needed. Sessions are held at our clinic in Lane Cove. School visits may also be available.
